Opening & Closing Services

Time to open up for the spring! Our spring opening service is a one price fits all service for all above ground pools. We are currently only booking 20 pools per spring so book it now before we fill! Our service includes:

• Pumping off and removing the winter cover
• Hook up plumbing, remove winter plugs, etc.
• Start up chemicals: Chlorine shock, algaecide, and rust & scale preventer
• After we leave, it is recommended you:
• Further clean your winter cover prior to storage
• Clean the bottom of your pool from any debris that may sink down naturally (we use water clarifier so it should naturally clean the particles over 2-3 days versus fluctuant which sinks them to the bottom)
• After 3 days bring a water sample to Sebesta Pools to check your water chemistry.
• If you need a sand filter change, we can do this service for an additional $125 fee + the cost of sand.

Winter is here. The most common cause of above ground pool failure in the Midwest is improper winterization. With proper winterization, it will help to open up your pool in the spring to a crystal clear pool. We are currently only booking 20 pools per fall, so book it now before we fill! For our winterizing we include the following in our full winterizing service:

• Drain pool to appropriate level
• Put it winterizing chemicals
• Unhook and pump/filter system-take off pump for inside storage
• Put winter cover on pool and strap down
